GUWAHATI: The Assam Budget 2019-20 has gone live on numerous social media channels. The State’s Finance Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma is presenting the budget at the Legislatively Assembly.
He started by saying that all of the proposals of the Assam Budget 2019 are in consonance with the philosophy of Sarve Bhavantu Sukhinah i.e. the greater well-being of people of Assam.
“This Budget is dedicated to each of 3 cr & 30 lakhs population of our state, their happiness, health & positivity, and that no one suffers from the grief,” he tweeted live from his twitter account.

He added that Assam is full of “aspiration and ambition” and that now the government has to ensure that “each & every community that make up this unique tapestry of our heterogeneous society matches steps.”

The finance minister further said that they have hope and determination to take their rightful place in India and the world. In the past 3 years, they have built a strong foundation from which they build now.
