GUWAHATI: Amazon Prime’s new web series ‘Paatal Lok’ is the talk of the town. Based on the life of a cop, Paatal Lok is a crime thriller produced under the banner of Anushka Sharma’s Clean Slate Films.

The series is directed by  Avinash Arun and Prosit Roy.

While people are talking about the thrilling series, not many are aware of the young Guwahati boy who is a part of the series.

Guwahati’s Bodhisattva Sharma plays the part of Siddharth Chaudhary in Paatal Lok. Siddharth is the 15-year old son of Hathiram and Renu. The character of Hathiram is played by Jaideep Ahlawat, one of the major leads of the series.

Further, the series also stars Neeraj Kabi, Gul Panag, Abhishek Banerjee, Mairembam Ronaldo Singh and Swastika Mukherjee among others.

This is the first time that Sharma is acting in front of a camera but he is proficient in performing theatre in English, Hindi, and Assamese. Earlier he had also received a travel fellowship from the National School of Drama.

Currently, Sharma stays in Delhi and has enrolled in class 11 in the field of humanities.

Exclusively speaking to G Plus, his mother Shashwati Goswami said, “It was a fun learning experience for him. He got the chance to work in the series by luck. He was attending a workshop in the National School of Drama when an audition took place and later he got selected.”

His father Chandan Kumar Sharma said, “He is very passionate about acting and he was looking for an opportunity as such. As parents, we feel great that he got an opportunity to work under such a huge banner.”

“I feel that this is just the beginning as he has a long way to go,” he added.

Apart from having a keen interest in acting, Sharma also likes football and music. He has represented New Delhi in under-15 Nationals for football and has also travelled to Portugal to play the Sessimbra Summer Cup.
