GUWAHATI: In a tragic incident, a boat carrying at least 50 people capsized in the Jiabharali river in Sonitpur district’s Jamugurihat town on Thursday, October 17.
Even though a rescue operation was initiated by the SDRF team, several people, including children have been reported missing.
Based on reports, the boat was on its way to Tezpur’s Panch Mile ghat from Jamugurihat’s Makua ghat.
