Assam: Army Personnel Provides Medical Succour In Chirang

GUWAHATI: The medical team of Indian Army unit at Chirang district in Assam rendered medical assistance to people staying in that remote area.  

A medical camp was conducted on 12 October 2019 in Ai Poli village in Chirang District in BTAD area in an endeavour to reach out to locals. 

The Army doctors, which consisted a team of five Army doctors including a lady doctor, 14 nursing staff and a TB Detection team of JSB Civil Hospital, Kajalgaon extended their expertise for the benefit of the needy populace of this remote village and its adjoining areas to provide medical support in coordination with the Health Department of Assam Government. 

The medical camp included facilities for consultation, check up and free medicines.
