GUWAHATI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has developed a common online portal - Darpan - for admissions of students into Higher Secondary (HS) first-year courses for the 2021-22 session .
Darpan has been developed for the convenience of both educational institutions and students during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic situation in Assam. The portal can be used by institutions such as Universities, Degree Colleges, Senior Secondary Schools and Higher Secondary Schools under the AHSEC.
For participation in the process, institutions with valid AHSEC codes have to create their profiles by providing details of the educational institution into the portal by visiting darpan.ahseconline.in or ahsec.assam.gov.in from August 4 to 9.
On completion of profile creation by the institutions, students will be able to apply online for admission into various institutions in Assam through the websites mentioned above from August 11 to 25.
Further, educational institutions will publish the Category-wise merit list within August 31, 2021.
