GUWAHATI: The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has declared Saturday as full working day for all educational institutes under it.

A notification issued by AHSEC stated that there will be no holidays on the second and fourth Saturdays.
The new academic calendar for the year 2024–25 has been released by AHSEC, stating that Saturdays would be full working days. There would be no half working days as well.
