GUWAHATI: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) Assam has announced the expulsion of their party member Swatam Singh from the post of General Member with immediate effect.

The reason for the suspension was stated to be anti-party activities, epecifically going against the party leadership and hatching a conspiracy against the party. Therefore, swift action has been taken to suspend Singh due to his effort to tarnish the reputation of the party.

Singh's immediate suspension was based on the decision of the party's disciplinary committee. This decision has been made to maintain the integrity of the party and to curb any unfavourable actions against the party's reputation and leadership, according to a press release.

It has been revealed that Singh, who was associated with the government sector, was engaged in activities that were against the party's principles. The party has strongly condemned his involvement in these malicious activities. The party has made it clear that no such behaviour that tarnishes the party's image will be tolerated in Assam, according to the press release.

The party has explicitly stated that no tolerance will be shown towards any reasons that lead to unethical conduct in Assam. Moreover, they urge all its members in the state to refrain from any form of communication with Singh or any other individuals involved in activities that go against the party's values.
