GUWAHATI: Five people were killed and leaving 26 others injured after a vehicle in which they were travelling met with an accident at Tangla in Assam.
The incident occured in the wee hours of March 14 when the driver lost control and the vehicle hit a tree by the roadside.
Meawhile one person died on the spot while other 4 including a school student died on the way to the hospital.
The victims were returing home with the bride after the wedding.
Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal mourned the deaths. He prayed for speedy recovery of the injured.
