GUWAHATI: A total of 2,34,809 students are set to appear for the Higher Secondary examinations which are to be held from February 12th to March 14th, 2020.
Out of the total, 175,175 students will appear in the Arts stream, 40,588 in Science stream while 18,178 students will sit for exams from the Commerce stream for class 12 examinations.
Further, 868 students in total will appear in the Vocational stream. The Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) has set up as many as 772 examination centres this year. Apart from this, 20 venue centres have been established for students located in remote areas.
Additionally, the practical examinations for class 12 will take place from February 18-30.
