GUWAHATI: A new students' organisation, Asom Chattra Parishad has been formed by the Asom Gana Parishad (AGP) on October 31.
According to reports, students who are studing in any institute can be a member of the Parishad.
Nine new parishads has been formed, namely Praan Parishad, Shakti Parishad, Mandal Prishad, Bidhan Parishad, Mahkuma Parishad, Parliamentary Parishad, Zila Parishad, Central Parishad and Working Parishad.
The committee will have 12 vice presidents, 7 general secretary, 14 secretary and one organisational secretary.
