GUWAHATI: The Assam government terminated four Assam Police Service (APS) officers from their services to the state on Friday. This was communicated via an order.
All the then APS officers were arrested and jailed on charges of being involved in APSC cash-for-job scam, however, they managed to receive bail from the Gauhati High Court.

The four APS officers are Pallabi Sharma (BJP MP RP Sharma's daughter), Kabita Das, Gulshan Daulagupu and Bhargab Phukan.
