Dibrugarh Police on Thursday filed a chargesheet against 24 APSC accused officials.
Police have slapped charges of corruption, cheating, criminal conspiracy, forgery, and causing disappearance of evidence and giving false information on the officials.
On the other hand, the High Court has rejeceted the bail plea of Nishamoni Deka, who surrendered in connection to the APSC scam. Nishamoni pleaded the court to grant her bail stating that her 2 month old baby was deprived of proper care and facilities in the jail.
The court has ordered jail officials to take care of the baby and directed doctors of GMCH for regular health check up of the baby.
