GUWAHATI: The Assam Cabinet on Sunday, October 27 approved an equity infusion of ₹205.72 crore for Numaligarh Refinery Limited (NRL).

This decision follows the third cash call from NRL, which seeks to infuse equity against the 26% stake held by the Government of Assam in the Mini Ratna central public sectors enterprise.
The infusion is expected to boost NRL's expansion activities. It will also create job opportunities for the youth, contributing to economic development in the region.
