GUWAHATI: Apollo Hospital, Guwahati has donated Rs 8 Lakhs and 5,000 pieces of facemasks under their CSR initiative as a support towards disaster management activities of Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) in the state during the outbreak of COVID-19.
Manas Das, Chief Financial Officer, Apollo Hospital, Guwahati and Jagadish Bezbaruah, Senior General Manager (Operations), Apollo Hospital, Guwahati have handed over the cheque and the said materials to M.S. Manivannan, Commissioner & Secretary, Govt. of Assam, Home & Political Department and Revenue & Disaster Management Department and Chief Executive Officer, ASDMA.
Manivannan has expressed gratitude to Apollo Hospital, Guwahati for the donation in this time of crisis and opined for more such initiatives to be taken care of.
