Another Covid-19 Patient Dies in Mumbai; Death Toll Rises to 10

GUWAHATI: A 65-year-old coronavirus patient died in Mumbai on March 24, taking the Covid-19 death toll in India to 10.

According to reports, the man had recently returned from the United Arab Emirates to Ahmedabad. He later complained of fever, cough and difficulty in breathing, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials informed. 

Meanwhile, a 23-year-old woman tested positive for coronavirus in Manipur, which became the first confirmed case in the Northeast. The woman had recently returned from the UK via Delhi and Guwahati airports.

The global death toll from the novel coronavirus has crossed the 16,000 mark. Further, as many as 3,70,000 people have tested positive for Covid-19 in 168 countries/regions across the globe.
