GUWAHATI: Don Bosco School, located in Panbazar, celebrated its Annual Day 2023 with a vibrant two-day cultural extravaganza, bringing together students, staff, and guests on November 23 and 24. The Chief Guest for the inaugural day of the event was Lakhan Lal Meena, the regional officer of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The theme chosen for this year's celebration was “Heritage,” a reflection of the school's pride in the cultural and historical legacy of the nation. Speaking to GPlus, Fr. Sebastian Mathew, the Principal of Don Bosco School, stated, "We are proud of our national heritage, so we have kept our theme as heritage."
On the first day, sections A and B from kindergarten to class 11 with the exception of 10, who did not participate owing to their board exams, took centre stage, presenting a diverse range of cultural performances that showcased their talents and artistic expressions. The cultural programme encompassed a variety of performances, including dance, music, and theatrical presentations, all intricately woven around the theme of Heritage.
