The annual cultural festival of Assam Engineering College Guwahati, Pyrokinesis, is being held at the college campus from April 19-21.
The three-day fest will host a range of competitive as well as non-competitive events including Natraj (dance competition), Street Beatz (Dance Battle), Clash of Bands, Fun and games. DJ Nights and Celebrity talks are the highlights of this year’s Pyrokinesis.
Uddhab Bharali, an engineer with over 132 patents in his name, and Minoli Borthakur, a professor who fought cancer, will be addressing the students and talk about their challenges and struggles.
Guwahati based rock/metal band Lucid Recess will be performing on April 20.
On the concluding day of Pyrokinesis, actor and writer Sumeet Vyas will interact with the students at G Plus Campus Talks. This will be followed by a performance by Mumbai-based singer and guitarist Nikhil D' Souza and an EDM night featuring Terra.
This year, the tag line of the fest is "The Road to Magic Opens" and the organisers of Pyrokinesis aim to stay true to it, and be successful in creating magic.
