GUWAHATI:The popular web series ‘The Night Manager’, starring Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sobhita Dhulipala, has been nominated for the prestigious International Emmy Awards 2024 in the Best Drama Series category.

The crime-thriller will compete against three other international shows: ‘Les Gouttes de Dieu’ (‘Drops of God’) from France, ‘The Newsreader’ (Season 2) from Australia, and ‘Iosi, El Espia Arrepentido’ (Season 2) from Argentina.
Anil Kapoor, who plays a key role in the series, took to social media to express his overwhelming emotions, stating that he was in “tears of disbelief and joy” following the announcement made on Thursday, September 19. He also thanked fans of the show and expressed his gratitude for the recognition on the global stage.
‘The Night Manager’, directed by Sandeep Modi, is an Indian adaptation of the 2016 British series of the same name, based on John le Carré's novel. Produced by Banijay Asia and The Ink Factory, the series also features Tillotama Shome, Ravi Behl, and Saswata Chatterjee. It is currently streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.
The 2024 International Emmy Awards will take place in New York City on November 25, with Indian stand-up comedian Vir Das set to host the prestigious event.
