GUWAHATI: In a first, Guwahati Tea Auction Centre (GTAC) will be conducting its next auction on 1st July online.
A press release of GTAC read, “...the entire sale will be a work from home experience for each and every stakeholder involved, be it a buyer or a broker.”
The earlier sales of GTAC this year had recorded attractive average price of Rs. 225 per kg compared to the previous year’s Rs. 148 per kg.

Even in last week’s auction, the average sale price was Rs. 265 as against an average of Rs. 157 for the same sale last year.
For tomorrow’s auction, GTAC will be offering 4.55 million kgs and approximately 180 buyers are expected to bid.
