Around 25 lakh devotees visited the temple during the Ambubachi Mela last year and the Mandire committee is hopeful that the number will only increase this year. Sadhus and tantriks from across the country, who are very significant of the Mela, have already started arriving at the temple.

For smooth functioning of the event and security, the temple committee said that apart from deployment of police personnel, hundreds of volunteers will also be engaged to control the crowd.
