GUWAHATI: The Kamakhya Devalaya is all set to perform the rituals related to Ambubachi on Wednesday, June 22. Ambubachi will start at 8:18 PM on Wednesday which is known as pravritti and will conclude at 8:43 AM on June 26, also known as nivritti.
The door of the temple will be closed on June 22 and will open on June 26 after the ritual is completed.
The Kamakhya Devalaya Committee has informed visitors that like the last two years, this year too, no large-scale mela celebration will be organised during the Ambubachi Mahayog due to the flood situation in the State.
Moreover, no lodging facility will be provided in and around the temple and the rituals will be performed as per tradition without any visitors.
