GUWAHATI: Assam Industrial Infrastructure Development Corporation (AIIDC) gears up to host the first edition of Assam Start-Up Festival 2023 from August 23 to August 25.
With 30 innovative startup units out of a total of 295 from across the region taking centre stage, this event promises to be a pivotal moment for the state's burgeoning start-up ecosystem.
The festival is poised to be a hub of knowledge and collaboration, featuring a diverse range of activities including technical sessions, panel discussions, pitching sessions, and masterclasses. These engaging sessions will provide participants with valuable insights and opportunities to learn from industry experts and thought leaders.
Speaking to G Plus, Chinmoy Phukan, the Managing Director of AIIDC, shared his vision for the festival, stating, "Our primary goal is to inspire and empower aspiring entrepreneurs to embark on their start-up journeys, aligning with the principles of Atmanirbhar Bharat."
He further emphasised that the festival plays a crucial role in fostering self-reliance in Assam and extends a warm invitation to the people of the state to partake in this enriching experience.
The festival aims to provide a platform for start-ups to showcase their cutting-edge products and innovative solutions, connecting them with potential customers and investors.
