GUWAHATI: As schools, colleges, hostels, clubs and hotels across Assam are being requisitioned by the state government to convert these into quarantine centres, the Assam Engineering College (AEC) Hostels have also been taken for the same purpose.
The Superintendent of the hostels of the Assam Engineering College (AEC), Guwahati, vide a notice, instructed boarders of the college hostel to collect their belongings from the hostel on or before 30th May 2020 and at the same time, the students were instructed to prioritize their collection of books and any other study materials required to appear in the end semester examination from home if necessary.

“Prioritizing your academics, you are hereby informed to come with one person and collect all belongings related to your study. You are instructed to come with proper masking and sanitizer and follow safety norms for COVID-I9,” the notice read.
