Advantage Assam 2.0: Industries Minister Bimal Borah Reviews Work Of Committees For Summit

GUWAHATI: Assam Industries Minister Bimal Borah on Monday, February 10, conducted a review of the preparations for the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit, to be held on February 25-26 at the Assam College of Veterinary Sciences grounds in Khanapara.

During the review meeting, officials were directed to meticulously handle invitations, particularly for investors and other key guests. The Exhibition Committee was tasked with finalising hall allocations, seating arrangements, and decorations to maintain international standards.

The Protocol, Facilities, and Transport Committee also presented updates on accommodation and transportation plans for investors attending the summit. The minister stressed the importance of smooth logistical arrangements to provide a hassle-free experience for delegates from India and abroad.

Security measures for the conference, especially for prime ministers of India and Bhutan, who are expected to attend the opening day, were also reviewed. Discussions included traffic and parking arrangements for dignitaries and investors, with police officials directed to implement necessary measures.

Officials and employees were urged to work diligently to ensure the summit's success and promote Assam as a premier investment destination.
