The summit, scheduled for February 25-26 at the Veterinary Field in Khanapara, Guwahati, will feature a total of 2,590 agreements worth ₹15,911 crore in investments. Among these, MoUs ranging from ₹5 lakh to ₹50 crore will be signed at the district level to encourage local engagement and participation in the state’s development.

During a video conference from Dispur on Sunday, February 23, the Chief Minister stressed that every region of Assam should be stakeholders in the summit. He also directed the DCs to organise the MoU signings in alignment with the summit’s goals and objectives.

Additionally, the Chief Minister instructed the arrangement of screenings of the Mega Jhumoir Binandini at over 800 tea gardens across Assam. The initiative aims to allow residents in remote areas to experience the cultural performance remotely, as not all interested dancers could be accommodated at the main event at the Sarusajai Sports Complex in Guwahati, where Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to attend.
