GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced that the results of the Assam Direct Recruitment Examinations (ADRE) will be announced by the end of February or in early March on Saturday, January 11. Following the declaration of results, the state government plans to advertise 4,500 new government job vacancies.

Sarma confirmed that the recruitment process will continue despite the government having already provided over 1.5 lakh jobs to unemployed youth in a facebook live. He assured the public that the advertisement for these additional posts will be released shortly after the ADRE results are finalised.
The chief minister also discussed several important initiatives, including the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 infrastructure and investment summit, set for February and said that this summit is expected to attract further investments to Assam, generating additional job opportunities for local youth.
