GUWAHATI: The All Assam Students’ Union (AASU), AJYCP, the artiste community along with other organisations will take out a torchlight procession against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on February 8.
The procession is said to start in the evening from Swahid Nyas Bhavan in Guwahati’s Uzanbazar area.
Meanwhile, AASU leaders Dipanka Kumar Nath, Lurinjyoti Gogoi, AJYCP leaders Rana Pratap Barua, Palash Changmai has appealed to the people of Assam to join the march and support the movement.
