GUWAHATI: In an unfortunate incident, an eight-year-old boy lost his life after an iron gate fell on him at a construction site in Guwahati’s Sawkuchi area.
The victim has been identified as Jaher Ali.
The incident occurred while he was accompanying his parents at the construction site where they were working as wage labours. The family hails from Barpeta District.

After the accident, the child was rushed to Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), but was declared brought dead.
