Addressing the dignitaries at Chennai during Advantage Assam: Global Investors' Summit, Sarbananda Sonowal discussed the potentialities and opportunities in Assam in various sectors.
"A 65-storeyed twin tower will be build in Guwahati. This centre will become a symbol of trade and business in the gateway to South Asia," Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal said.
He further added that the BJP government has succeeded in bringing in investments worth about Rs 7,000 crores to Assam since it came to power.
Earlier, in a cabinet meeting that took place in Guwahati on August 31, Chandra Mohan Patwari, Industry and Commerce minister took some key decisions and certain bills were approved. This included the decision to build a 65-storey twin tower international trade centre building in Beltola.
