GUWAHATI: A fire reportedly broke out at a commercial building in the Milan Path area of Cycle Factory, Guwahati on the morning of April 13.
The fire was reported to have started at around 4:15 AM.

Three Fire tenders were quickly dispersed and the fire was completely doused within 40 minutes.
As per an eyewitness, the fire started at an empty space near a godown which then gradually spread to the adjacent commercial building gutting everything in between.

The locals of the area are suspecting short-circuit.
While talking to GPlus, the Fire Department said, “Fire occurred on the ground floor of a G+1 commercial building and we doused the fire by using water spray.”
As per authorities, properties worth ₹10 lakhs were damaged in the fire.
