GUWAHATI: A joint operation conducted by teams from Garchuk Police Station (PS) and Bharalumukh PS under the West Guwahati Police District (WGPD) led to the seizure of cannabis weighing 65 kilogram, on September 10.

The bust took place late night on Tuesday near the Maniram Dewan Trade Centre, Betkuchi, Guwahati.
Three individuals, identified as Sansuma Daimary (34), Raidao Narzary (29), and Jospin Daimary (22), were apprehended during the operation. Authorities have confirmed that two vehicles used to transport the illegal consignment were seized.
Legal proceedings against the accused have been initiated, and further investigation is underway.
