GUWAHATI: The Sribhumi Police intercepted a vehicle at the Puwamara Bypass area, leading to the recovery of 442 gram of heroin on March 27.

According to police sources, the operation was carried out based on intelligence inputs, and the narcotics were found concealed within the vehicle. Two individuals have been arrested in connection with the case, and further investigations are underway to trace the larger network behind the smuggling.
