GUWAHATI: Just ahead of Republic Day, the Government Railway Police (GRP) and CRPF in a joint operation seized 320 rounds of .32 live pistol ammunition from Guwahati Railway Station.
According to reports, police arrested one identified as Abhinandan Kumar from 15960 DN Kamrup Express train coach. The apprehended person was coming from Dimapur to Howrah.
The railway police have registered a case under the arms act.
