GUWAHATI: With domestic flights operating from the 25th May, 32 flights are to land at Guwahati on the very first day.
State health minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, "We are expecting around 2,000 people to arrive in Guwahati."
The state government will get the detailed list of passengers 4 to 5 hours prior to the flights' departures.
Each flight will be operating with full capacity. As such, around 108 passengers will be in every flight.

"We are in some uncertainty as of now. Let's say if 2,000 people get down in Guwahati tomorrow, it will take around 24 hours to do initial screening of all," said Sarma.
"Passengers have to bear with us. We will do our best but as of now we are in uncertainty as to the number of passengers," added the health minister.
