GUWAHATI: A substantial consignment of gold biscuits was seized at the Guwahati Railway Station on January 23 by the Government Railway Police (GRP).
A routine check conducted in the North East Express at the Guwahati Railway Station led to the seizure of 18 gold biscuits weighing 3.10 kilogram.
Talking to GPlus, SRP Assam Debashish Bora said, “ We made the bust today which also led to the apprehension of one individual carrying the gold biscuits on the train. His details cannot be disclosed as of yet, but we have taken him in.”
