3 Airlines To Waive Rescheduling/Cancellation Charges For Flights To & From Srinagar

GUWAHATI: Three Indian carriers including Air India, Vistara and Indigo announced on August 3 on their respective Twitter pages that a full waiver to reschedule or cancel flights to and from Srinagar.

This news comes after Jammu and Kashmir’s government advisory to Amarnath pilgrims and tourists in Kashmir to cut short their stay and leave the valley “immediately.”

Air India’s waiver is applicable until August 15, while Vistara and Indigo’s offer lasts until August 9.

It should be noted that the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has advised airlines to be ready to operate additional flights from Srinagar airport if required.
