GUWAHATI: A 50-year-old man from Mizoram was tested positive of coronavirus on March 25.
According to reports, a sample of a Mizoram person tested positive at Gauhati Medical College & Hospital.
Assam Health department Principal Secretary Samir Sinha reportedly confirmed it to India Today. Meanwhile, Mizoram authorities have also confirmed the case.

It is to be mentioned that this is the second case reported in northeast India.
He is believed to have travelled to Qatar, Amsterdam, Istanbul and Doha among others recently. However, there is no official confirmation as yet.
Yesterday, a 23-year-old girl from Imphal (west) was identified as the first confirmed case of the novel coronavirus in Manipur.
