GUWAHATI: A 25-year-old woman was found dead in her rented accommodation at Bela Path, Tarun Nagar at around 4:00 P.M on January 9.

The deceased has been identified as Pratiksha Sharma.
Talking to GPlus, an official from Geetanagar police station said, "Preliminary investigation suggests that she died by hanging. We have seized a few items from the house for further inquiry."
Further investigation is underway.
