GUWAHATI: The special court today will pronounce punishment of NDFB (R) chief Ranjan Daimary and 14 others who have been convicted in 2008 Assam serial blasts case on January 30.
It is to be mentioned that security has been beefed up in the city ahead of the pronouncement of quantum of sentence.

On January 28 the special court convicted the chief of the National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) Ranjan Daimary and 14 others in the 2008 Assam serial bombing case triggered by NDFB on October 30, 2008, in Guwahati, Kokrajhar, Bongaigaon and Barpeta, killing 88 people and leaving more than 500 injured.
