GUWAHATI: A team from Sonapur Police Station destroyed 200 litres of illicit liquor on Sunday, May 4, in a crackdown on illegal alcohol in the region. The operation, carried out in Byrnihat, also led to the seizure of 58 bottles of illegal liquor from Kamalajhari and the 14 Mile area.

Officials confirmed that the seized liquor was disposed of on the spot.
