GUWAHATI: A road accident occurred on National Highway 27 near Khetri, involving a two-wheeler that was heading towards Jagiroad on Sunday, May 4. The rider, a young man, lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a road divider at high speed. He is Identified as Rahul Teron.

Local residents quickly alerted the police, and Khetri Traffic Police personnel arrived at the scene. They rescued the injured youth and rushed him to a nearby hospital in critical condition. However doctors declared him dead after an initial examination.
Speaking to GPlus, an official from the Khetri Police Station said, "Locals informed us about the accident, and he was rushed to the hospital. The boy was declared dead. No one has seen the accident, but the rider may have lost control of the vehicle and crashed at high speed into the road divider, as no other vehicle is seen to be involved."
The police have launched an investigation into the incident, though it appears the accident was a result of the rider's loss of control.
