GUWAHATI: Guwahati Giants lifted the inaugural Gauhati Town Club (GTC) Men’s Spring T-20 Cup 2025, defeating 91 Yards Club by 37 runs in the final at Judges’ Field on Saturday, May 3. The fortnight-long tournament, organised by GTC, ran from April 17 to May 3.

Opting to field first, 91 Yards Club could not restrict the Giants, who posted 192 for 9 in 20 overs. Key contributions came from Asif Washimul Haque (38), Vipin Chandra (38), Siddhartha Sankar Baruah (30), and Rajjakuddin Ahmed (30). In response, 91 Yards Club were restricted to 155 for 9 despite great knocks from Vipul Kamboj (49 off 24) and Abhishek Kaushal (45).
All-rounder Vipin Chandra was the standout performer, bagging 3 wickets for 31 runs in addition to his vital 38 with the bat, earning him the Man of the Match (Final) award.
