GUWAHATI: Two pilots were killed after an Indian Army helicopter crashed in Bhutan on Friday, September 27.
Based on reports, the helicopter crashed into a hill near Khentongmani, Yonphula, Trashigang due to bad weather.
The single engine Cheetah helicopter was piloted by one Indian and one Royal Bhutanese Army pilots.

Of the two pilots who were killed, one was of Lt Col rank and the other was a Bhutanese Army pilot training with the Indian Army.
It is to be mentioned that Indian Army undertakes training of pilots also as part of the Indian Army Training Team.
