2 arrested for possession of drugs at Guwahati Railway Station

Police on Monday arrested two persons at Guwahati Railway Station and recovered drugs from their posession. The Police noticed them 'moving suspiciously' at Platform No-5 which allegedly caught their attention. The two men, namely Saiful Islam and Md. Belalluddin on being searched gave up several strips of Ativan-2mg tablets from their possession. On being interrogated, they disclosed their MO saying the that they identified suitable passengers and made them unconscious by mixing the tablets in food to steal their belongings.
