GUWAHATI: In the first T20 International of the three-match series between the women teams of India and England the guests scored a respectable 160 in 20 overs at the Barsapara Cricket Stadium here in Guwahati.
In the morning India won the toss and decided to bowl.
Opening the innings England wicketkeeper-opener Tammy Beaumont (62) and Danni Wyatt (35) gave a good start to the match. Later England captain Heather Knight (40) helped push the team's score up. England finished 160-4 in twenty overs.
