GUWAHATI: The Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International (LGBI) Airport reported a record passenger volume of 1.74 lakh over a 10-day period from November 6 to November 16. This statement was issued by the Adani Group on Monday, November 17.

The conglomerate, responsible for managing the airport, said that the latter successfully managed 1,202 flights during these ten days, ensuring seamless operations for both domestic and international travellers.
On November 14, the airport recorded its highest single-day passenger count of the year, with 20,413 travellers passing through the terminal and the occurrence of 146 aircraft traffic movements (ATMs).
Additionally, November 10 witnessed significant activity as well, with 20,016 passengers and 131 flight movements, marking it as the second busiest day during the same week.
Adani Group further highlighted the LGBI Airport’s growing international operations, revealing that October saw its highest-ever international passenger traffic. A total of 7,651 international passengers were served with 104 ATMs during the month, while on regular days, it handles an average of 17,500 passengers with 127 ATMs.
