After the sensational case of rape and murder of a minor at Nagaon, another incident of attempt to rape a minor has come to light.
The incident occurred at Basistha, Guwahati on Tuesday night when one Anowarul Islam allegedly tried to rape the minor.
Reportedly, the minor was alone at home, when the incident took place. Accused Islam originally hails from Silchar.
Basistha Police has currently arrested Islam and investigating the case for further details.
