GUWAHATI: Assam health minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma said that 10 people had come into direct contact with Guwahati’s COVID-19 patient, Mungru Sahani, who tested positive on Monday.
All of them have been isolated and quarantined, said Sarma.
19 people including a doctor of Guwahati also came into indirect contact with Sahani.

Earlier on May 11, 2 cases were detected in Guwahati and one of the patient has been identified as Mongru Sahani, 50 year old of Alupatti Fancy Bazar, originally from UP, Azamgarh.
The second patient is a 27-year-old patient of the Neurology department at GMCH.
