Zublee Foundation to organize Organothon for the 3rd time in Guwahati

GUWAHATI: Zublee Baruah’s “Zublee Foundation” is organizing Organothon, a run to support and generate awareness for Deceased Organ Donation.

After the massive success of the first two editions, the third edition of Organothon will be held on 24th November (Sunday) 2019 at 5:00 AM at Sonaram High School field.

The run has two categories which are “Run for the Cause” (5 km) and “Run to Win” (21 km).

Organothon is a charity run aspiring to make a difference in people’s lives. It is aimed at generating mass awareness on deceased organ donation among people and is the first of its kind in the Northeast.

“Lack of awareness among people about deceased organ donation is a key reason why several lives are lost. It is important for us to understand the magnitude of this problem and also the benefits of deceased organ donation,” said Zublee Baruah, noted Singer from Assam and founder of Zublee Foundation.

Organothon is an initiative by Zublee Foundation which originated in the year 2017. The previous two editions witnessed massive participation and Baruah is hopeful that this edition will also be successful.

People participating in the “Run for a Cause” marathon will receive a certificate and a medal along with the promise of good health. “Run to Win” has the same benefits along with a cash prize as follows:

1st finisher:- INR 10,000/-

2nd finisher:- INR 7000/-

3rd finisher:- INR 4000/-
