GUWAHATI: Zubeen Garg’s ‘Kanchanjhanga’ has collected Rs. 40 lakh on its opening day.
Garg informing of this news, wrote on his Facebook page, “Kanchanjangha rises with a bigger first day collection than Mission China. September 6 earned 40 lakhs!!!”
The movie, which was screened in only 69 screens, has been directed by Garg and also features him in the starring role. This is his second movie as a director after ‘Mission China,’ which was released last year.
The film tells the story of a young ambitious and rebellious guy who fights against the system.
